The Senior Accountant will assist and participate in all accounting and cash management functions. Its primary focus will be on financial analysis and reporting. The Senior Accountant will provide financial and technical expertise to support daily operations and recommend improvements to department processes. As necessary, the Senior Accountant will serve as the backup for the Controller. This role will interact routinely with executive management.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting documents.
Lead the performance of monthly financial analysis activities.
Assist in developing and monitoring budgets; prepare and analyze departmental budget reports.
Assist in preparing schedules submitted for annual audited financial statements.
Perform complex financial analyses and reports on forecasts, cash flows, strategic business plans, and financial audit functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance of Accounting
Minimum 3 Years General Ledger experience
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of GAAP
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate to expert Excel skills, and QuickBooks.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal directions.
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Hospital Experience a plus
Non-Profit Experience a plus
Experience with Intacct a plus
