General Description

The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resources department.

Essential Job Duties

The following are essential duties for an assigned segment of the organization’s HR responsibilities.  

 Responsible for appropriate follow-up of each element of background and drug screenings within established time frames.

Responsible for the system on-boarding of candidates once final offer is accepted.

Data entry of employee/contractor information into HR/Payroll system.

Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations.

Ensures employee HR files are complete, updated, and compliant with licensing agencies audit standards.

Processes employee status or salary changes.

Helps employees and outside agencies with employment verifications and loan documents.

Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Assists with the maintenance of our Careers social media pages.

Other (Non-essential) Duties

Attends and participates in HR staff meetings and daily huddles.

Supports HR team with employee reward, recognition, and events.

Other duties as assigned, verbally or in written form.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two+ years related office experience
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills including the utmost ethics and highest integrity.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and associated HRIS software.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare experience; Healthcare HR experience a plus

Previous ADP experience 

Physical Requirements/Working conditions

  • Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting; must be able to stand/walk for most of the workday; heavy lifting, must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work paying close attention to detail with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
