Skills / Requirements

The CMA's are responsible for assisting Providers with medical treatment of patients within a patient-centered philosophy. We have full-time, part-time and on-call positions available at the Wickenburg Community Hospital Clinics in Wickenburg, Congress & Wittmann

Our CMA's are integral to our hospital and are responsible for a number of functions such as verifying insurance availability and insurance requirements regarding prior authorization for treatment. It is vital that our CMA's maintain integrity and confidentiality of records at all times and that they assist clinical staff in assuring that records are complete. 

Position Summary:

  • Perform back office procedures
  • Take vital signs and prepare patient for exams                                 
  • Answer and triage phone calls from patients, enter documentation in EHR and maintain patient’s confidentiality
  • Administer medical/injection, call prescriptions to pharmacy, assist providers as needed.
  • Work closely with providers and assist in procedures as needed.
  • Positive interaction with staff and patients.
  • Sterilization of instruments, stock exam rooms, and any other duties as directed


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant and/or Registered MA
  • Experience in an Ambulatory Care setting 
  • Medical Terminology 
  • Computer skills 

In addition to the functions described above, this role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned on occasion, based upon WCH needs or requirements.
