Skills / Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant, CCMA or Registered MA
  • Must have 3 to 4 years of experience as a Lead CMA/RMA or a Back Office Lead 

Essential Job Duties

  • Take Vitals
  • Answer and triage phone calls from patients
  • Documentation in HER
  • Prepare patient for exam
  • Administer medication/injection
  • Maintain patients confidentiality
  • Call prescriptions to pharmacy
  • Assist provider as needed
  • Oversee inventory of medical supplies and equipment
  • Assist in chart documentation for quality purposed to ensure that provider
  • coding and documentation matching
  • Maintain all QA/QC checks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on
  • all medical equipment, medications, as well as In-House back office procedure
  • lab testing when appropriate
  • Assist with administrative assignments as needed
  • Oversee the daily function of the Clinic

Other Duties

  • As directed by the Clinic Supervisor

Physical Requirements/Working conditions

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
